Ben got his start in video production at Valdosta State University in 2013. After graduating in 2016 he moved to Albany, GA and cut his teeth at a small production company working across video, photography, and graphic design. A move to Atlanta in 2020 led to 2.5 years producing video, photography, live streaming, and event coverage for another production company — before he struck out on his own and founded Ben Kraken Media, LLC in April 2023. In 2026, Ben moved back to Albany to be closer to family, bringing over a decade of production experience home with him.
"No one has to settle for boring phone photos or videos. When I look at a business on Google, I want to be inspired to visit — not scared away by the lack of effort given to their digital curb front. I want to create content that makes the client smile."
Outside of work, Ben is usually outdoors — hunting, or spending time with friends and family. He grew up near an Air Force base and holds a deep appreciation for the military and first responders, and his Christian faith is central to how he lives and works. He has a real love for blue-collar industries, and is just as comfortable working in office environments, manufacturing facilities, medical offices, and construction sites.
